Dialogues on Nutrition and Poverty: 20 Years of Integration Between Research, Service, and Public Policy

Synopsis:
The Nutrition and Poverty Research Group (GPNP) of the Institute for Advanced Studies (IEA) celebrates its 20th anniversary. Over the past two decades, through continuous activity, it has built a collaborative space where civil society leaders, researchers, public servants, and policymakers have shared experiences, knowledge, and actions to shape public policies addressing the complex causes and consequences of poor nutrition in all its forms.
The records of this journey have been compiled into the book “Dialogues on Nutrition and Poverty: 20 Years of Integration Between Research, Service, and Public Policy.” The book launch event will bring together GPNP’s long-standing partners for a panel discussion on the current state of hunger in Brazil, featuring a contemporary and dynamic debate on food systems and the role of artificial intelligence in this discussion, outlining future paths to be explored.
