Team

CREN’s interdisciplinary methodology is applied by social educators, speech therapists, nutritionists, teachers, pediatricians, physical education professionals, and psychologists.

We also have a support team that provides the necessary conditions for the institution’s work to happen. The team includes professionals in the administrative sector, communications, data management, fundraising, management and coordination of teams and units.

Board of directors

CREN’s current Board of Directors holds office until March 16, 2024. Its members are not compensated. The role of CREN’s Board of Directors is to provide strategic direction for the institution to ensure CREN’s financial sustainability.

Management Committee

The Management Committee promotes and participates in CREN’s strategic planning. The group consists of members from the board of directors, scientific committee, executive managers, and volunteers, who serve as the official representatives of the organization.

Mini bio

Co-founder of CREN and coordinator of the scientific committee, she is a retired full professor from the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp). She holds a PhD and a master’s degree from the University of Cambridge, England. She coordinated the Nutrition and Poverty Research Group at IEA-USP until 2019.

A nutritionist graduated from Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp), she holds a master’s degree and a doctorate in Medicine from Unifesp. She is an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL).

Clinical General Manager at CREN, she is a medical doctor graduated from Escola Paulista de Medicina with a residency in Pediatrics, specializing in Nutrition at the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics and ABRAN. She holds an MD from the Department of Endocrinology of Escola Paulista de Medicina/Unifesp and is the co-coordinator of the Nutrition and Poverty Research Group at the Institute of Advanced Studies of the University of São Paulo (IEA/USP).

Nutritionist with a master’s degree from the Federal University of Alagoas and a doctorate from Unifesp. Professor at the School of Nutrition of UFAL.

Professor of Nephrology at Unifesp, he holds a master’s degree and a doctorate from Unifesp, a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and a postdoctoral degree from Johns Hopkins University, USA.

Professor at UFAL. Nutritionist with a master’s degree from the Federal University of Pernambuco, a doctorate in Endocrine Sciences, and post-doctorate in Physiology from Unifesp.

Physiotherapist graduated from the Methodist University of São Paulo, with a master’s degree and doctorate in Sciences from Unifesp. Professor at the Federal University of Paraíba.
